New Companion Announced!!
The Sun has reported that the Eleventh Doctor’s companion has been cast. She is Scottish actress Karen Gillan. Gillan is no stranger to the world of Doctor Who. Eagle eyed viewers may remember her as one of the Sibylline Sisterhood from the fourth series episode, Fires of Pompeii (she was the one that followed the Doctor and Donna at the beginning of the episode…).

I have no problem at all with Gillian here, it’s just that I went to her IMDB page to see if there’s anything else she’s been in that I might have seen, and on that page I saw a link to a news article which stated “while Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) will tie the knot with show regular Mickey Smith (Noel Clarke).”
WTF? What about her pediatrician friend? What is going on here?
