Searching For a Family…
Playwright, Simon Farquhar is searching for a family that had an unusual experience. On November 13, 1976 as the family was getting ready to watch the latest episode of Doctor Who, who should appear at the door? The Doctor himself! Well, Tom Baker specifically. It seems Tom was on his way back to London after attending a convention and he was worried about how kids were going to react to the latest episode. So Baker found a random family and asked if he could join them and watch Doctor Who. Farquhar is searching for the family for a new BBC production called Teatime with Tom Baker.
And while I have your attention… Where the heck is Series Two of Ashes to Ashes?! Seriously, the first series was ending about this time last year. I can’t find ant info on Series Two whatsoever. Any of you guys know anything?

Any idea what episode they watched? Just curious.
Also, no idea on the Ashes to Ashes thing…good luck finding out!

Mentoc, it would have been episode three of The Deadly Assassin. I have it but have not yet watched it. Currently I’m on The Brain of Morbius. Trying to watch them in order…
I did find out about Ashes to Ashes quite by accident though. I was surfing the web when I came upon Philip Glenister’ s site and according to him Series Two is suppose to start in April.

I actually haven’t seen it either, I only have the last four Tom Baker seasons…tell us how it is when you get to it!

Ashes should be starting this month or next. BBC have just started showing the trailers for it.

And the official date given now is Monday, April 20th.
