John Simm Injured in Car Crash…
The Daily Mail reported that actor, John Simm, was injured on the M1 Motorway while driving to see Manchester United play against Chelsea last Sunday. Simm injured his wrist in the crash but luckily there were no fatalities and he did not wake up in 1973 (ok… bad joke, but you know it was going there…). Simm of course is best known for his portrayal of Det. Sam Tyler in the hit BBC show Life on Mars. In Life Tyler is hit by a passing car and when he regains consciousness finds himself in the early seventies. Simm of course as we know played the crazed Harold Saxon (if that’s his real name…) in Doctor Who’s third year and also appeared in an episode of Simon Pegg’s Spaced opposite Jessica Stevenson who played Joan in the Human Nature/Family of Blood two-parter. We wish John all the best and hope he gets well soon.

Hope he’s alright… though undoubtedly he’ll simply regenerate if the damage is severe!:)
