Yes, today is Wendy Padbury’s 61st birthday. Padbury is best known for playing Zoe Heriot, a companion of the Second Doctor. Padbury now works as a theatrical agent and she represents some past Doctor Who actors such as Nicholas Courtney (Lethbridge-Stewart), Mark Strickson (companion, Turlough) and Sixth Doctor, Colin Baker.

And in what is surely a strange coincidence, I just happened to be watching for the first time, the Second Doctor serial, The Mind Robber yesterday. If you happen to have an Xbox Live account and Netflix you can get what seems to be every Doctor Who DVD that has been released streamed to your Xbox 360. This (along with the holiday season) is going to keep me busy for quite some time…
