Yes, today is Doctor Who’s forty-fifth anniversary. The first episode of Doctor Who, An Unearthly Child aired November 23, 1963. Back then the cost of a new house was around the cost of my VW Beetle. The average income was about $5800 and gas was twenty-nine cents a gallon. Alcatraz officially closed and the oral Polio vaccine was introduced. There was the “Great Train Robbery” in Buckinghamshire, England, Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his I Have a Dream speech and the greatest Democratic president, John F. Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald the day before Doctor Who would air.

So in honor of Doctor Who’s forty-fifth anniversary, here is the first episode, An Unearthly Child “Sims 2 Edition”…
