Classic Who Comes To The Modern Age

Following shortly on the heels of the release of the new ‘Doctor Who’ show on iTunes comes even better news. You can now bring the glory of yesteryear to your iPod with classic episodes of Who. Amongst the available serials are the Sixth Doctor in ‘Mark of the Rani’, the Fourth Doctor in ‘The Ark in Space’, the Third Doctor in ‘Carnival of Monsters’ and rarer serials like the Second Doctor in ‘The Krotons’, the Fourth Doctor in ‘The Sun Makers’ and the Third Doctor (and Sarah Jane) in ‘Planet of the Spiders’. Here’s hoping that some more classic episodes make their way to the service.

    @ Gaul

Depends on the serial. The Mark of the Rani for example is $3.49 I believe while some of the more expensive ones are about $11.49. The length of the serial determines the price. Now, four bucks for a Doctor Who serial? Heck yeah, that works for me (as opposed to twenty or more dollars for the DVD). Of course you don’t get any extras, which I absolutely love and has been one of the greatest things about the Who DVDs.
