When you are an abhorrent sinner and you don’t want to go to hell you turn to Jesus Christ to be saved. When teen participation in the church falls, Jesus Christ turns to the Doctor for salvation. Wired is reporting that the Church of England, in an effort to get more teens to attend services, is looking into using Doctor Who. Between 2000 and 2006 the church lost about twenty percent of their teen congregation. I don’t know though maybe it’s because they grew up? Teens only stay teens for about seven years.
