No Disintegrations
An odd bit of Who Trivia coming your way tonight. Just as Christopher Lee was lucky enough to be in both the Star Wars saga and the Lord of the Rings saga and Ian McKellan was lucky enough to be in both the X-Men and Lord of the Rings sagas, apparently Boba Fett himself, Jeremy Bulloch, appeared in not only the Star Wars films but as the archer Hal in the Third Doctor serial ‘The Time Warrior’. That same story was notable for a few other reasons as well. Not only did it have Boba Fett (sort of), it was also the first story to mention Gallifrey as the name of the Doctor’s home planet, the first appearance of the Sontaraans and the first appearance of one of the Doctor’s more famous companions, Sarah Jane Smith.

If memory serves General Maximilian Veers (Julian Wyatt Glover) was King Richard the Lion hearted in Doctor Who-The Crusades and was Count Scarlioni in Doctor Who- The City of Death

You are correct sir! Check out the “Who’s Who In Who” section for a biography of Julian Glover. Also Michael Sheard, famous for playing the incompetent Admiral Ozzel in Empire…, has also played in several episodes of Doctor Who.
