Doctor Who Series Four Premier
Well today’s the day! Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock then you know today is the day that series four of Doctor Who starts today at 6:20. Well, over there in jolly, old England anyway. We over here in the States will just have to wait to see the show on the Sci-Fi Channel at the end of the month. Of course we here at Who-Philes would love to know what you thought of the new episode, so let us know. Though please keep it spoiler free. We here in the US who have to “wait” a few weeks appreciate it…

I won’t say anything beyond the fact that you’re in for a BIG surprise.
It was a good episode, albeit suffering from the normal series opener curse. Ah well, it’s a nice change that we don’t have to go through the whole “bigger on the inside” series of explanations again.
Catherine Tate is actually not that bad an actor, I think people just enjoyed putting her down before they’d actually seen her in a series proper.
Shame about the several week difference problem. The benefits of being born in the UK become clear…

Well it used to be a couple of months. Last year we didn’t get series three until the month after it was finished in the UK. Of course a lot of people will ust download them after they have aired in the UK and watch them on their iPods. Maybe that’s why the BBC has decided to let the US air the show a few weeks later.
